One-on-One Leadership Coaching for Undergraduate Students

Rawan Mohamed

I participated in the Leadership Coaching program in my freshman Winter and I absolutely loved the experience! What I really liked about it is how much ownership I had over shaping the experience. Although there is a certain structure to it, it is also open-ended enough for you to make it serve your needs and what you want to talk about. ...It was great to have a space to say all the ideas I had out loud and to have my [Coach] help me reframe those ideas and turn them into actions I can take to become a more effective teammate and leader.”

Rawan Mohamed, Computer Science (Class of '23)

My experience with leadership coaching was transformational. Rather than try to teach some best method of leadership, my [Coaches] worked with me to identify my personal strengths, and, by walking through scenarios I face everyday on my teams, helped me convert these strengths into a foundation for better collaboration. [Coaches] also understand that leadership is a flexible term, and in my several rounds of leadership coaching, our conversations were just as impactful when I was a team member to now, when I serve as the face of an organization.”
